Weekly Sunday Broadcast | Prayers for Healing, Longevity, and Disaster Relief
From Byodoji Temple, the 22nd sacred site of the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage and a temple of Koyasan Shingon Buddhism, we deliver live broadcasts of Yakushi Nyorai benefit goma fire rituals every Sunday. The ceremonies are conducted according to the traditional Chuin-ryu practices commonly performed at Mount Koya.
Yakushi Rurikō Nyorai is also called the "Great Physician Buddha" and is a Buddha who removes the suffering of illness from all beings and grants peace of mind and body through his Twelve Great Vows.
Please entrust your prayers to the flames of the goma and receive the divine protection of Yakushi Nyorai. You can join us in worship even through the screen.
