焼八千枚供とは真言宗に伝わる達成が困難な修行の1つです。
修行者は3週間前から精進潔斎し、五穀断ちなどの厳しい食事制限をした上で一日三回の護摩行を行います。
当日は水も断った状態で8時間から10時間の間護摩木を火に投じ続けること8000本。不動明王の真言を唱えながら祈り続けます。
平等寺では毎年一回これを修行することとし、今回で10回目。毎回、世界平和、皆さまの所願成就をお祈りしてきました。
焼八千枚供は「願求悉皆成就の法」とされ、この秘法に求める願いごとはすべて成就するといいます。 ぜひこの勝縁に、皆さまの願いごともお聞かせください。本尊不動明王さまにできる限りの祈りでお届けさせていただきます。

4月19日の結願の座にお越しの皆さまはぜひ伴走陀羅尼をお唱えください。 導師の修法に合わせて、ひたすらお不動さまのご真言をお唱えします。
途中、水分や軽食（無料）を用意しておきますので適宜休憩をはさみながら、一緒にお祈りいたしましょう。
終了間際にはお身体への加持祈祷や、このときだけの特別なお守り（如法の五色金剛線） を授与させていただきます。

四国の右下、徳島県阿南市で行われる63座の護摩に参座するのは難しいことですが、御幣をお供えすることで、あなたの代わりとなり、お不動さまのすぐそばでご利益を受けることができます。
今回特別に制作した御幣は、住職および職員が完全手作りで仕上げました。炎をイメージした阿波和紙の幣帛と、奈良桧の弊串で構成されています（特別御幣は、黒く焼いた桐に金文が施されています）。

Three times a day at 3:00, 9:00, and 14:00. We will perform the Fudo Myo-o's disaster relief Goma and deepen our prayers. Each seat takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
Eat porridge for breakfast and finish eating with lunch in the morning. This is not just vegetarian food, but because of the grain abstinence, we do not use rice, soybeans, wheat, etc. We eat nuts and root vegetables with light seasoning.
Free time is devoted to making Goma sticks. It's a fun time of Goma Samadhi.
As the continuous recitation of 100,000 Jikyu spells takes about 60 hours, we will chant it in 5,000 times in each of the 20 Goma rites. Each Goma takes about 4 hours. We perform this three times a day.
Since there is hardly any time to eat, we limit it to one meal a day. By this time, the body feels light, and it is not a burden to sit for a long time.
About 10,000 in total, including 108 sticks × 80 bundles plus the Goma sticks for the vow.
The Goma rite will take about 8 to 10 hours. The pace may vary depending on the condition of the yogi.
